I thought every US commercial airline was supposed to make available to the public, the avg on-time stats and avg delay stats of each flight.
Rules in place since 1987 require on-time reporting to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. These requirements have grown over time as the govt. has sought more data to investigate major bottlenecks. Apparently the rules for making data available to the public are in flux.
The issue concerning the displaying of on-time data on carrier websites is being addressed in a separate rulemaking titled Enhancing Airline Passenger Protections (72 FR 65233, Docket OST 2007-0022).
