I definitely don't agree with this statement. I don't own any timeshares, don't plan on owning any timeshares, but I do love to go on the tours. Yes, some timeshare companies definitely put the hard sell on you. I've been on somewhere between 10 and 20 Marriott tours and can say that Marriott doesn not do the hard sells. Personally, any vacation I go on, if there is an MVCI property close by, I usually try and go on the tour for the bonus points. Its worth the points. ^
