Wed did it again the last week of July And I completely agree with TropicalFlyer's assessments, above. (And to get around to answering a much earlier question, yes there are footrests).

Best seats in F are the bulkhead seats. Lots of room.

AFAIK, you get no status or class of service miles. You can choose to receive UA miles for the paid segments (ours were award tix) but since AQ is not a Star Alliance partner, those miles don't count for status or bonus.
