Very common. Usually if you see any JetBlue crew members, in uniform, onboard sitting in customer seats, on extra jumpseats, or in the flight deck, (but never the bathrooms ) it's usually someone commutting to or from work. We also offer, space available, seats to other airine personal, doing the same thing. In return, we are allowed, as inflight or flight crewmembers to travel on airlines other than ours, at no charge, as long as there are empty seats. Next week I'll be traveling MDW-TPA on WN, instead of going through JFK.

BTW, just a side note, we LOVE customers who bring us goodies, like cookies or mini candy bars! <------shameless begging.
