My wife is a Premier and from what I recall hers says seating area "1", only, when she flies with me. Her boarding pass certainly has no "1K" on it. Mine of course does, so I hand over mine first, as probably most other 1Ks do, too, when traveling with a companion. Haven't paid that much attention to specifics of her boarding pass, tho, other than to make sure her MP number is on it.
