Agree. *A quite different from BA. The whole thing of stop-over is that you can stop over, not necessarily only if it is a stop you have to make there because there is no direct flight A to C. Point is more in which zones A, B, and C are. I recently tried a Zone 2 to PVG with stop in BKK and they did allow this but at more miles than we all we would like.
