A report from Halifax published in May 2008 said that 8,257 properties in the UK were sold for £1m+ in 2007

Bonuses - as I mentioned above, the average Lehman salary + bonus last year was $322,000. The average at Goldman Sachs, and again this covers everyone from secretaries upwards, was $660,000.
