Having been an AA employee back in the 90's, I am having serious issues with the catering prices that she is quoting. In the 90's, it cost about $25 per domestic F meal (total cost). The Y meals varied from $5 light meals to about $15 for transcon deluxe dinner service.
It may be that pricing has come down considerably in the depressed airline catering business. Does she outsource or offshore the preparation of meals to reduce costs?
