The evening arrival into Sydney allows a get-together with friends/loved ones before hopefullty a good night's sleep.
I have done the flight in J (back in 02/02, when due to various things - collapse of AN, resulting in QF desperately needing capacity, and BA having too much after 11/9/01 - the QF32 morphed into a BA flight) and it was still the flight from hell.
As the doc says, I would avoid these timings down the back, however.
You would have to pay me big $$$$ (or maybe even big €€€€) to do this trip in WHY (or even Premium WHY).
