Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, get the flight leaving LHR around lunch time, it is the flight from hell (and I have done it twice, once in WHY and once in J).

The flight leaves just before midday (according to your body clock) and arrives in SIN just after midnight (according to your body clock) - so, for most people, sleep is lamost impossible on this sector. You will be wanting to get some sleep around the time the flight arrives in SIN.

But, this is where the problem lies - the SIN stop is first thing in the morning SIN time. The flight tends to lose half of the SLC (Self Loading Cargo) at SIN, and picks up a whole stack of SLC at the same time.

The newly boarding SLC will have their body clocks set to SIN time (whilst yours is still on LON time), and will probably have had a reasonable (albeit reduced) nights sleep, so will be pumped up and ready to go. They will be talking to each other, they will be walking around the cabin, they will want the shades up to look out. At EXACTLY the same time that LHR originating passengers will be wanting to curl up into a ball and try to get some sleep.

DO NOT DO THIS FLIGHT.

Whoever scheduled this flight needs to have his/her own special place in hell reserved for them.
