I overpaid my credit card bill online by paying it online, then auto-pay still went and paid it also five days later ( even though the balance should have been zero ) when autopay was supposed to engage. Now I have $500 credit on the card. If I cancel this card online like I usually do by emailing their support, will they automatically issue me a check for the credit? Or should I just keep using the card till the credit goes to zero?
