I agree with szg. The best procedure is to ask HAM check-in staff to put a note in your booking that you want to pay in a SWU. This can be even done when you call to check in by phone. I am note really sure if it makes a difference even tough some FTers believe in it. Once you are in FRA you should go to the Gate or check-in and ask for the upgrade to be proceed.
