The one I used last time in T4S was very good and actually had some real food in there so Iberia obviously know what they should be aiming for but for some reason have not done it in T4. I can understand that their one in LHR T2 is fairly rubbish but to not get the lounge in one of the main terminals of your home airport right is just inexcusable, particularly if you clearly know how it should be done.
The T4 lounge gets really hammered - all IB domestic flights and there's a lot of them! Not so much a case of "where shall I sit? - T4S" but "where is there an empty seat - T4?".
I could be wrong but I think the T4 lounge is still run by Iberia staff whereas the T4S lounge is run by staff from the Sol Melia Hotel chain who really understand customer service and - shock, horror - smile at PAX!
