AA's table from the above link titled "Recommended check-in times for cities that exceed two hours" lists MIA requiring 2 hours, all the other airports listed require more than 2 hours... perhaps an MIA hater doing the listings?
Anyway, I was through MIA on Friday for the first time since the C/D reconfiguration and after reading about the lines here on FT, I went to E security even though my flight was at C... the TSA ID/BP checker tried to convince me to go to the C/D checkpoint but I politely declined... waiting in line and clearing security took less than 5min.
