Have to Agree. Have taken QF29/QF30 a few times this year, Once in J, Once in F and a return in whY. On both QF29 segments, the service was average at best in J/whY. On QF30 on the way back the F service ran rings around the F service on the MEL-LAX service, and even down the back of the bus the FA's were far better. The smiles seemed genuine and any request was met with a 'ill see what i can do' attitude and was actioned. Nothing seemed to be too much effort for them, even distraught parents with a particularly badly behaving baby.

Maybe the AU based crew should be trained by the LHR based crew. Would make for more pleasant flights on the entire network.
