Are AS computers slower than the rest of the flying world? It seems that it takes around 2 weeks for credit to appear in my account when I request AS mileage on either AA or DL flights? Does that seem right?
I believe it's driven mostly by the efficiency of communication with the partner airline. Flights on NW show up as fast as those on AS itself. On the other hand, flights on KL don't seem to show up at all without a fax of the boarding pass to the MVP office. All other fall somewhere in between.
