Dude - I have the same demeanor as you when it comes to mistakes of others and money being a CPA- but let it go, relax and enjoy your trip! You have the proof and the credit card company on your side. Much easier to go that route (you can do it on-line with a few clicks) at your leisure once home rather fighting to get a disinterested clerk motivated to actually do something.
