Question about Sapporo city bus pass

This may be the type of too-detailed question that no one will know the answer to, but I'm goning to ask anyway. I've posted to 2 other foums and gotten exactly contradictory answers, so I'm going for 2 out of 3.

Sapporo has a one-day bus pass for 1000 Yen. However, I cannot find an exact description of the area that it covers. Specificially, I'm wondering if it can be used to go to Jozankei. Athough Jozankei is usually covered as a separate tourist destination, and I believe there is some countryside between Jozankei and Sapporo, it is actually within the Sapporo city limits, which is why I am wondering if the bus pass may cover the trip. I think this site may be a map, but I only know 6 kanji, so I'm not getting very far: http://www.city.sapporo.jp/st/map1day.html

We are coming into Sapporo late in the evening, and it would really help to have this information before we leave the airport as everything will be closed by the time we get into the city and we need to commence sightseeing early the next morning.

Anybody have any clues?

Thanks!
