When I go to Houston I usually stay in the Galleria area. I noticed that there were several reports from readers about some power back up in that area, so I looked at some random hotels there and the only one whose website showed availability was the Omni in the Riverway complex.

I have no idea if the website reflects current conditions, as to whether they are really open, so I'd definitely call before booking anything on their website:
