I don't always agree with the folks on the other site, but they're certainly right in this case.

Prediction based on the following:

1. Give them a week of coverage on UA to gauge passenger impact and negative press.

2. Press currently occupied with Lehman, IKE and Elections

3. UA takes effect for Travel on or after Nov 10.

4. 7 incremental days would allow them to have fee take effect on or after Nov 17th in time to gouge the Thanksgiving travelers.

Then again I said predict... so could mean it was just a hunch or guess..
