Now on the topic of SVO: has anyone heard the latest on opening of SVO3? Just got some tickets for May/June, hope it will be open by then (however, my November and March trips to SVO will have to be into SVO2 for sure, it seems like).

SVO2 check-in for Business class to AMS (my typical 10:20am flight) NEVER exists, there is a dedicated counter thats not so dedicated, all coach passengers are in that line. I literally have to fight to get to the actual counter to get processed as a Business class passenger, while coach guys and gals are giving me nasty looks and I generally feel very uncomfortable about it. That flight seems to be always very full, so they need to do something about having dedicated Business desks that are actually serving Business and Elite passengers ONLY. Enough ranting, just really angry with SVO2 right now .

Also, I only used DME a couple of times recently, once AZAL to Baku (back into VKO on AZAL as well) and another time Austrian to Vienna. Both experiences were very nice, AZAL uses some common lounge thats decent, and Austrian lounge in DME is very nice. VKO was also very easy to navigate, it just had some sort of warm feeling for me, compared to the crowds of the larger airports.
