Huh?!? Why would we want elected representatives tinkering with the fees that airlines can charge???

I suppose that we could go back to a regulated environment. The fares would be triple the current level and the aviation industry would be MUCH smaller. But we might still have meals on the plane (that people have ALWAYS complained about). There was always a charge for IFE (probably would be $10 now for tubular headphones). No FF programs or First Class upgrades -- unless you knew the GA.
