Outlook alarms - Any ideas?
I have an issue with Outlook and my boss and the (windows based) organiser which she is now using. The issue is that she has daily reminders set in the calendar for different days and they are usually set for the start of her working day so assume 7am (she likes them set for then) and then the alarm is set automatically 15 mins before that by outlook. This is the problem, she would like the alarms to ring only during say 9am to 5pm and we can't find a way of doing this automatically.
She could untick the alarm on everything starting before 9am, but will inevitably forget to do so and the chances of someone adding an appointment in without telling her are quite high. It is vital that the alarms sound during the day but not at silly o'clock in the AM. I will find out what sort or organiser it is when she gets back, but I think an HP from memory.
Does anyone know a work around for outlook so that she can set it up so that alarms only sound during the working day say 9-5?
The last organiser didn't make a noise but this meant that she could miss appointments.
