I was on my last 3 segments of the great offer when my IAD to ORD landed in IND for fuel because they could not hold for 20 min.
When I arrived in ORD the RCC agent told me my DFW flight was still there but I would misconnect in DFW on the last flight out. I stood by and got a direct flight to DEN. I initally was credited with miles for the ORD to DEN flight. I sent my ticket confirmation to MP and they gave me credit (including great offer) for the ORD-DFW-DEN segments, but cancelled credit for the ORD-DEN segment.

I have heard that UA will give credit for both flight flown and flights booked when the change is due to UA problems. Is this true?
