Let's get relevant

Duh - this thread is now a sticky up top of the Canada travel forum? Okay. I haven't heard anything from the candidates on:
excessive federal security fees
excessive airport landing fees
lack of protection for passengers of suddenly bankrupt airlines
excessive fuel costs for airlines
nasty charges by airlines
unilateral devaluation of frequent flyer points
monopolistic practices of AC

When a candidate does something let us know. I managed to ask Paul Martin why fees for security were so high. His response was that they were and that's a shame and maybe he would do something.

And why do we tax air conditioning in cars specially. Does Air Canada have to pay an extra $100 when it buys a 777 if it is air conditioned?

I prefer this forum to Aeroplan because we can help others who want to know about travelling here. And I am only interested in helping others. Just like all the candidates.
