If it were me, I'd be making a reservation on Southwest since the tickets are refundable. I occasionally do that on the east coast if it looks like Amtrak is hosed between DC and NYP, I'll either hold a seat on the shuttle or just take the shuttle if I absolutely, positively have to be there.
