A "BA ticket" as in booked on BA, but an AA flight? In that case, charges for things like seat assignments for tickets booked using other than AA.com, or AA phone have been around for about a year now.

Never heard of that but it doesnt make it better. The BA flight is fine now, it was a full Y ticket so as always AA did good work on scaring customers away
Hope the 15$ are worth it to them.
Since she collects with QF the miles dont matter here.
