That's with
UA status, not *A status, is it not? At least I couldn't get an exit row for my UA flights last week ...
P.S. The leg room is definitely nice in E+, and better yet in the exit row, but otherwise the UA rear cabin is not exactly uplifting, as the OP said, too.
