We look at the MR Forum simply as a privilege and benefit for registered members of FT.
You don't want to be bothered to register, you won't be able to view and possibly benefit from the MR forum.
We don't want to make MR super-exclusionary, i.e., X number of posts or days as a member. We just don't want to allow the drive-bys to access a forum that quite often contains valuable information.
