I cannot speak to much along the route that is too far outside of ACY, but a few weeks back we had an impromptu foursome of FTers from the CO forum on a course just outside of ACY. The course is actually under the approach path to the airport, which was fun, particularly when the military planes started making runs. The course is Blue Heron Pines. It plays pretty short (~6500 yards, IIRC) and without a lot of complications. It was definitely a nice option.
