Yeah, same here- when I have a D/N gate departure, I use that MVP line.

Of course, I've also been known to duck down to A gate security when all the other gates are swamped, and the C gate MVPG/Horizon shortcut is closed (which happens sometimes, it's not always staffed- this works OK for C gate departures). As long as you don't mind a bit of a walk...
