What the heck is "Latin" food? And when did Brazilians become Mexicans?
Do you think all "European" food is the same (yum, love that British Italian food, maybe pasta with brown sauce!)?
This kind of thinking is responsible for the plethorea of really bad Mexican restaurants I've endured in this country. In the DC area they are often run by Central Americans who know that no one will stop at their Salvadoran restaurant so they hang out a sign advertising Mexican food which they don't know how to cook.
