No experience as a plat, but I did spend 2 nights there last December. As KIXman says, taking the limousine bus to Sannomiya and then the subway or a taxi to the hotel is the way to go.

I thought it was a nice property, with decently sized rooms by Japanese standards, and a good value at the ~$100/night I paid. You can't beat the location if you're catching the Shinkansen because the station is right next door, and the hotel is next to / on top of a bunch of stores & restaurants. Some of the local streets make for a nice walk to stretch your legs after being in a plane all day. I'd definitely stay there again based on my experience.
