Any experieence on the CP Garden Grove?
Mine is not recent enough to help. I only stayed there once a couple years ago, noted nickel/diming such as parking fee, and noted that the hotel seemed ho-hum. But that was presumably before whatever refurb...

I can tell you that it is in a comoletely different area which is full of other hotels from other brands.

Btw, when you have a car in this area, the gas station at Chapman & Haster (Chevron I think) or the one at Harbor Blvd & Garden Grove Blvd (Shell) tend to have close to the very best gas prices (for stations that take credit cards) of anywhere in SoCal, and they are in particular just a mile or so away from the CP (a bit further from the Staybridge, and yet further from the HI on Walnut).

Btw, I hope you're getting a good value of points out of this. Anaheim/Garden Grove has the lowest hotel prices of anywhere in SoCal (for the same ultra-competitive reason that it has the lowest gas prices of anywhere in SoCal). That's why I'm so familiar with the hotels there; I trudge a dozenish miles up there to save big bucks, compared to where I go once I leave the hotel (close to SNA airport).
