Offload nightly using the small built in 8-1 card reader on my laptop. I didn't really think about using it until after three months with my laptop, now it's a breeze not having to worry about that extra camera-to-PC cord. If I get dangerously low on storage space, I start reducing photo quality, but that, obviously, is a last resort.
