Phone Amex and hopefully get Brighton. I had the same problem earlier this year and because I needed the miles for a redemption they gave them to me as ex gratia miles. They could see that the miles were owed but could not get them to "sweep across" to my BAEC account. Took a month to sort and several calls. The agent gave me his name and direct number which was nice. Eventually sorted and they even removed the ex gratia miles at a later date. Was hoping they'd leave them there as compo but no...
