Would you really want an unopened bottle of wine constantly circulated in and out of planes to eventually be drunk a while down the line? With all the temperature and moisture changes between in flight and outside conditions that wine might eventually taste like crap. For the sake of the poor grapes, let it get drunk before it gets destroyed.
