Missing Amex BA miles - Is this normal ??
I have not been paying much attention to my EC statement over recent months, as I have been doing so much flying that I have had little time to do so.
I did, however, think to have a quick check and now find that the miles shown as due on my May, June and August statements have simply not posted at all. I am now 30,000 miles short.
Is such a high failure rate normal and what is the best way to get it sorted ???
I recollect that Amex telephone CS was painfully inefficient when I spoke to them about other issues in the past. Amex has an online messaging facility which has BA Miles queries as a specific option. Is it a good way to proceed and how long will it take to resolve, or is it better to tackle it at the BA end, or both in tandem ?
