Fran,
If your final destination is in the US or if your flight originates from the US your allowance is 2 bags of 50 Lbs each. This applies to the entire flight including intra European connections.
My experience with AF is that they will have no problem accepting your lugage if it meets those restrictions. You should be prepared to receive it a little later than your arrival (Or is it my luggage that loves CDG and forgets the coonecting flight)
