This office is at the headquarters for an international Christian ministry. We very recently moved into this building and before it was ours, it belonged to the Scottish Rite Masons. So when we took it, there were a ton of bizarre things leftover. I found the 2 first class seats and immediately claimed them and that was the inspiration for the wall. I pretty much went the "forgiveness is easier than permission" route

. I didn't expect anyone to have a problem with it though... I painted the walls with a couple coats of the blue paint, the widget is made from some colored cardboard from the hobby store, and the Delta letters are foam-core.
It's my intention to paint the ugly base of the chairs blue as well, but alas, time hasn't permitted. I'll post some new pics when we get our new desks and I paint the base.
The explanation makes you a little less crazy that I previously though
