If you are a R.O.P, member you can reserve seats on international flts by calling the local office they mostly honner the request unless you want a bulk head seat which by law they have to check you, out at check in to see if you are able to operate an emergency exit door but some times they do bump you off if they want these seats for crew members of some one with higher ROP satus ie Gold.. I have flown many times with TG and found that they have given me the seats that i have wanted, so give it a try and see what happens

Not being a ROP member, I have never had problems pre-reserve a seat when booking, flying international. If you have a travel agent call them or your local Thai-office, why should they not help you?. On many online reservation sites you are able to reserve your seat when booking. Domestic check-in online as early as possible and choose your seat in that process.
