True (except for the 9,000 elite miles for faxing, which required nothing in the way of flying at all). But many if not most of these folks are not going to be "buying up" to get these Elite Qualifying Miles. They most likely are flying on those type of fares anyway.

I still think it's about hanging on to those folks, more than it is cultivating new ones.
