No decent offers for me this year. I already had 10 segments in first quarter so the segment offer wasn't any use to me; not that I was offered that promo.

I moved my travel over to Alaska-Air where their promos make it easy to earn close to 250,000 miles during the second half of the year for $2000.

The sweet spots from UA came to late. I already booked my travel on other airlines. I would have booked two Australia tickets on UA if we had received the Sweet Spot upgrades earlier in the year.

Looks like I won't keep 1K.
