You should wait it out. If you get 10K DL EQM and 15K NW EQM, I don't know if they'll give you elite status on DL next year whereas if you keep your EQMs in same account, you won't have to worry about it. You can credit all your DL flights to your NW account anyway so there is really no advantage in having two accounts.
