13JK seem like they be pretty close, being 3 rows from exit to galley.
I've got 16A solo outbound and 13JK with my partner on the return. On the latter, those were the only adjacent upper deck seats available, though when the seat map releases the rest of the right hand side, I hope to move to forward facing seats.

The consensus seems to be that the seats are all pretty identical as far as roominess, since they've all got a clear border. As far as perceived roominess, certainly no one wants to be in a downstairs middle, and the upper deck is great for the side storage bins. But there won't be the big differences between 16/17AB and 16/17GH the way there used to be.

It will be harder for any new config, for sure. My partner is waitlisted with an SWU applied FIVE MONTHS AGO, and she has virtually no chance of clearing (oversold in C with a week to go). Moral of the story: Never try to upgrade SFO-HKG on a Saturday.

Yep, I think 15AB and 16AB are the best choices while equipment swaps remain a possibility.

In many of those I was forced to choose a seat on the RHS of the plane because it was booked out on the LHS. I think they has so many C seats booked on some of these planes that they had to open all for some of them.
You should post this in the related thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=842222

And does it look like the RHS is clear systematically? My SFO-HKG itineraries are still blocked on the RHS (minus 13JK with other anomalies). It would really be something if they have finally fixed this bug. It would be something else if they replaced this bug with a bug that blocks the LHS
