Because unfortunately, walks are a part of the hotel industry.

That being said, walks are unpleasant and are an ultimate last resort for the hotel. Generally speaking, if a guest is walked once, there's a decent chance they may return for another stay, especially if it is handled properly. If a guest is walked on two separate occasions, they'll most likely never return. Once is bad enough, twice is just business suicide.
