It doesn't seem likely than any airline is going to let you double dip into the same mileage program as you had hoped for.
Additionally, some airlines won't give you ORC on a bump. They believe that the compensation you are getting for the bump is your full compensation. I'm pretty sure on the Delta board that some members negotiate for ORC when taking a bump.
In any case, you got away from the romper room flight, got your bump compensation, and got 50% more miles than expected.
All in all, I'd say you did rather well for yourself! ^
