1. Unless I am mistaken, AF flights to India currently leave from 2C, not 2F
2. You need to clear security when boarding any flight in CDG, whether you are connecting or not
3. You do not need to clear immigration when you have connecting flights between 2 non-Schengen destinations such as the UK and India
4. If you want to remain in the international transit zone while connecting, you need to take the airside shuttle bus : one stop from 2E to 2C
5. If you want to walk between 2E and 2C, you will have to clear immigration twice, once to enter France in 2E, and once to leave France in 2C.
