Hi! I live in Detroit and am planning mt first RTW. My itinerary includes LHR-STR-AMS-KMI (Miyazaki Japan).

I know I can't get the 26,000 mile discount fare originating in the USA. However, I can get to a Canadian point of departure easily, for example YQG (Windsor, ONT).

My questions are:

1. Can I do YQG-LHR-STR-AMS-KMI-DTW-YQG and dump the last segment and still get the Star Lite fare?

2. Using the Star trip planner, even when I put in YQG-LHR-STR-AMS-KMI-YQG I can't seem to get the Star lite fare to come up. How can you get the discount?

3. Any other tips for originating out of Canada?
