Translation:
US English: "I lucked out" .... I was lucky
Australian English: "I lucked out" .... I was unlucky (my luck was out)
Everytime I say it (which admittedly isn't very often but whenever I do) Mrs tt7 (who's Australian) and any other Australians around look at me with a puzzled look as the statement I just made doesn't make sense to them. Fortunately, this forum has a very cosmopolitan audience ....
The 70-71 AB (or HK) seats are good, if you can get them. Only downsides are the turbulence and "tail waggle" maybe a bit more noticeable that far back and (of course) you have to wait for everybody to get off ahead of you - but then after 14 hours or so on the plane, who cares ....
